Surfing in Wales
Catch waves together on a group surf lesson, with your friends or colleagues, at some of the best beaches that Wales has to offer!
Why surf in Wales?
With over 800 miles of beautiful coastline and consistent swells from the Atlantic, Wales is an awesome UK surf destination. With sandy beaches and rolling landscapes, it’s one of the most beautiful destinations for a surf. It’s a super fun group activity that’s suitable for all levels, whether you’ve just picked up a board for the first time or already know how to pop-up and ride waves – it’s definitely a watersport that shouldn’t be missed if you want to discover the epic Welsh shores.
Experience Wales' scenic surf
The consistent beach break sheltered coves and scenic views not only make The Gower Peninsula a reliable spot for a surf, but also a beautiful place to catch some waves. Whether you’re staying close by in Swansea, or a little further afield in Cardiff, Gower (the UK’s first ‘outstanding area of natural beauty’) is well worth a trip for a surf adventure, especially with a post-surf stop at a cosy county pub. North Wales also has some epic options for catching waves. Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula are blessed with great learner waves, perfect for groups who have less experienced surfers in their ranks.
Whether you want to include surfing in Wales as part of your company offsite, stag do or weekend away with your sports-team, there’s no feeling like catching your first wave! We’ll create a quality package tailored to your needs, including accommodation, transfers and meals. Already have your accommodation sorted? No worries, we can also help with a surfy day trip!

Why we love this...
“I love that Wales is such an unexpected surf destination to most, yet it has good swell and lush surf beaches. I have a soft spot for Rhossili Bay: the view blows me away each time and the beach is never too crowded with other surfers. The drive up to Rhossili is so picturesque – a small winding road with wild horses and sheep roaming freely. Can it get more Welsh than that?” – Heleen, Co-owner
