Our kids holiday camps in Wales are a fantastic option for guardianships, schools and youth groups looking for the best way for kids to explore the outdoors, get to know each other, learn new skills, and try out some thrilling activities. We offer private kids camps & activity holidays throughout Wales, with our most popular destination being Pembrokeshire; check out our Pembrokeshire Kids Holiday Camps to find out more.
There is also a range of group accommodation and outdoor activity options in Cardiff & Brecon Beacons, the Gower Peninsula & Swansea and Snowdonia & Anglesey. Each kids holiday camp is tailor-made to your group’s needs and preferences, taking advantage of all of the areas that make Wales so special. You can decide which kind of location and activities your kids group will enjoy the most. For instance, you can combine the city with active day trips or go completely off-grid and stay in the middle of one of Wales’ beautiful national parks by the coast or in the motunains.
Big Blue Adventures works with child-friendly accommodation options, like private bunkhouses, lodges, hostels, villas and even a country mansion. We offer a wide variety of outdoor activities such as canyoning, surfing, coasteering and things like paintballing, go-karting and hiking. Our team will be there from the first moment of contact, all the way to the delivery of the holiday camp. We can also add in extras such as meals, bus transfers and onsite games. When you’re ready just hit the ‘quote’ button, call or email us direct.
* Please note our kids camps are suitable for age 8 – 18 years old.
We only accept private group bookings, no individual sign-ups.
Coastal National Park
Pembrokeshire has a very rugged, stunning and long coastline which makes it a popular spot for water-sports such as coasteering & sea-kayaking. Coasteering actually even originated in Pembrokeshire. The Wales Coastal Path is a must-do whilst staying here, with 186 miles of walking paths to explore. Pembrokeshire is also great if you love cute seaside villages like St. Davids and Tenby. We offer private bunk-houses (sleeping between 16 pax all the way up to 100+ people), cottages and hostel accommodation on the west coast of Wales. Cardiff is a great base for exploring South Wales and it’s not too far from places like Bristol or London. It’s a small capital city which makes it easy to wander around with groups and to see lots of the highlights in a short period of time. The city itself also offers some fun activities such as rafting and indoor body-boarding. The city has a variety of group accommodation options such as private villas and child-friendly hostels. Not far from Cardiff is Brecon Beacons National Park which offers a natural playground for all sorts of outdoor activities, with the most popular being gorge walking & canyoning. Hosted Holiday Camps
With any of our Big Blue Adventures we always aim for a personal customer service (Travel & Hospitality Award winners for ‘excellence in customer service’). We are there to take the stress off your hands and to coordinate the whole camp. Working closely with the rest of your team is important to us and we want to make sure you get to enjoy the kids camp too!
Pics & Highlights Video
A really great way for the kids to show their parents what the camp was like, is with our highlights videos and pictures. You don’t need to worry about taking that perfect group picture as we’ll be bringing our GoPro cameras and shoot as much footage as we can. We’ll even bring the cameras during the outdoor activities to get lots of action shots in there and create a personal highlights video showing all the adventures.
If you need transport from your accommodation to our activities then we can arrange that for you, in fact it is usually expected on our adventure holiday camps. We have mini-busses available for groups of all sizes. We also love to take the kids exploring around the local area, so our mini-busses come in handy!
Meals & Drinks
You can choose between self-catering, bed & breakfast, half board or all-inclusive for your active holiday camp. We can also include packed-lunches, BBQ nights and we’ll even bring the popcorn for the movie-night and marshmallows for the campfire. Usually there will be professional caterers on site to provide the meals.
Holiday Camp Extras
There are lots of extras we can add to your kids camp in Wales, including (outdoor) cinema nights, award nights, outdoor games such as slack-line, football, volleyball or board-games. If you have any ideas, or would like more info on the extras we can provide, feel free to ask us on the Quote page.
