Offsite Brief
For this company’s first offsite, they wanted to bring everyone together for a few days of team building, team bonding and team adventures. Lisbon was the perfect choice for their trip. As well as it being a beautiful city with stunning architecture and plenty of amazing bars and restaurants, it also has the Arrabida National Park on it’s doorstep and stunning beaches a short drive away, for great activity options. They stayed in a modern hotel, with top facilities, and a rooftop pool with views over Lisbon. We added time into the itinerary for a Company Day – a rare and important opportunity for the team to work together face-to-face, plus a sunset boat trip and beach party so the team could also let their hair down, relax, and let the good times roll.
Offsite Itinerary: 3 nights
Day 1:
- Airport transfers: Some of the BBA team were there to welcome the team and make sure they all made their transfers
- Check in at the hotel: The rest of the BBA team made sure check in ran smoothly and the team received their gift bags
- Walk through the centre of Lisbon, down the famous cobbled streets
- Sunset boat trip down the Tagus river with open bar, buffet dinner, CEO welcome speech and DJ bringing all the good vibes
- Walk back to the hotel
Day 2:
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Bus transfers to Sesimbra
- Team splits across four team building activities:
Coasteering – Scramble over rocks, abseil, and jump into the ocean on this adrenaline-infused adventure
Sea kayaking – Paddle through the turquoise waters, and see Sesimbra’s stunning coastline from a different viewpoint
Dolphin watching – Keep an eye out for local wildlife as you cruise around the coast
Jeep tour – Explore the natural landscape around the Arribada National park in a 4×4, with stops to admire the views - Bus transfers to Costa da Caparica
- Buffet lunch at a beach side restaurant, with views of the ocean
- All Hands afternoon, a time to reflect on achievements, and get excited about the future
- Dinner is served, after working up an appetite from an afternoon of team catch ups and tasks
- Work hard play hard… beach party time with handpan music, fire breathing entertainment & DJ
- Bus transfers back to the hotel
Day 3:
- Morning yoga session, time relax and stretch before the day kicks off
- Bus transfers to Carcavelos
- Optional surf lesson at Carcavelos beach, a great spot for beginners and experts alike. Or, for those who didn’t fancy catching some waves, free time to explore lovely Lisbon
- Transfers back to the hotel for the surfers
- Buffet lunch at the hotel
- It’s Tuk Tuk time, one of the best ways to view Lisbon, with stops at iconic miradouro’s (viewpoints) around the beautiful city
- Team dropped off in the city centre for sunset rooftop drinks, with stunning views over Lisbon, to ‘cheers’ their team
- A short walk to an amazing restaurant owned by a Michelin star chef for a special dinner on the final night

- Breakfast at the hotel
- Check out
- Airport transfers: Time to head home
