30/1/06 - I see that you have changed the presentation of the website for Sam. Very nice and easier to get through the different pages. Well done and congratulations! Dad.

12/12/95 - Hi Howard and Suzanne, I got your e-mail and web site from Joy, we are bridge friends, thought I'd e-mail to say what a super site I enjoyed reading about your adventures so far and look forward to the next episode, hopefully we'll see the first baby photos. The photos on the website are great, the site must have taken ages to set up. Hope all goes well in the next few weeks. Visitors book is a great idea. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, from Sheila and Tony Cordery.

8/12/95 - I just checked your Website and as you said it is quite something. Felicitations to Howard. He has become an expert. A huge difference from the first one. Very Professionnal. I will show it to your mother as this afternoon. Well I will write later on this evening Bye for now Dad
7/12/95 - Hello Howard and Suzanne! I am Terri Hill's sister, Kay.  She e-mailed me with the address for your web page, and I have enjoyed reading it, and looking at your pictures!  I have heard so much about you two, that I feel like I know you already. Glad to hear that all is well with baby Clarke!  Won't be long now! Take care of my family and I hope we can meet face to face one day! Merry Christmas, Kay Ketcham   p.s.-- did they share any of the treats I sent with you?
3/12/95 - Howard & Suzanne, We were so delighted to hear from you and of the pending blessed event.  We visited your web site and loved it.  Tried to get into your Daily Journal but was unsuccessful.  I'm sure it must have been X-rated.  We also had an uneventful hurricane season.  Spent most of the season working on the house instead of the boat.  We're headed south in January but not to the Bahamas this year.  We'll hang out in the Keys for awhile and see what happens. David's sister is here visiting from St. Lucia.  Don't know when we'll head that way.  Depends on if we go to China for the Olympics.   By then everyone will have the bird flu, and we will have wished we went to St. Lucia. My daughter, Kelly, is pregnant again.  She is expecting her 4th daughter in April.  She's going to have to find another baby sitter, as 4 is way too many for me to handle!!! Are you still traveling with Neshuma?  We were curious if they ever got the Cat Sue was dreaming about. Best of luck with your new tax deduction!!! Jill & David

19/11/95 - Hello from Jim and Judy McGuire at the “Hunderd Aker Farm” in Rhode Island …  Yes, SONGLINES is at the dock in her winter shrink-wrap, and we will see snow for the first time in almost three years… Yes, busy in a lot of ways.  Good to hear you are taking of the short handed crew situation yourself.  Guess it is too late for us to take care of the lack of crew in that manner.  Oh well…

Don't know if we ever mentioned our then tentative plans to make a small addition to our little farmhouse in Rhode Island .  Well, anyhow we did it.  The start date was two months late which automatically put us four months late in finishing this fall.  We are still in the very thick of it and probably will be until mid-December.  Sooooooo, in a nutshell that is the reason for our staying on the sidelines this winter.  Bummmmer.  Oh, and also the cost actually doubled which is incentive for us to stay here and watch the renovation accounts.  The good news is that the construction/renovation is coming along well and we are very happy with the “almost finished product.”  What an experience.  If you ever feel the need to build something like this, talk with us…  Some very awkward and some very great times…

Of course missing folks like you certainly make this forced sit out even more of a bummer.  Yes, it all about the people we meet to us.  Oh, we aren't forgetting the lovely sights, warm and beautiful water and just the glamour of making such trips.    If for any reason you happen by New England next summer, we will be finishing up here and getting SONGLINES ready for the trip south in 2006.  Hard to believe, here we are thinking about the 2006/2007 sailing winter.  J   Aren't we optimists!!! The only one not missing the trip seems to be our tiger cat Rama.  He has all sorts of new nooks and crannies to check out, and he is loving it all.  Just another boat to explore to him I guess…

We have to believe you will provide notifications of the new crew person's arrival.  Of course it would seem appropriate to have new pictures on the website too. Perhaps we will trade an “almost finished” pic of our new home in return for pics of your new crew…  J

Our very best to you all… Oh Howie, remember the major engine job at Sampson Cay? Jim and Judy McGuire home on the farm
