On the approach to Nassau the Atlantis resort is a visible landmark. The resort with it's own marina, hotel, casino,resturants, and huge marine tank is the playground of the rich and famous.

Nassau is also the stop for many cruise liners. As in the picture 4 liners is a common sight.

A trip the the Barcardi factory, we expected a guide tour and to see the factory.

The factory was closed on the day we arrived, however the free Barcardi bar was open and the bartender mixed up whatever we wanted so we stayed there all day. Last call before we left was a visit to the factory shop for a heap of cheap booze.

Tim and Hayley visit us in Nassau over Christmas and New year.

Junkanoo is a huge street carnival held at christmas and again at new year. Its also a competition in which teams of hundreds of people compete to have the best display.

Starting around midnight the procession last until the early hours of the morning.
