S/V Shibumi - David and Jill - Florida - USA

Getting ready to explore Thunder ball Cave, as used in the James Bond film Thunder ball. In reality the cave is very small and at low tide you can snorkel inside. Waiting for you are hundreds of hungry fish who expect you to bring food. They are unafraid and will take the food from your hand. Including nipping fingers in the excitement.

After buying their boat they spent time restoring it to fantastic condition. We were all very impressed to find out Jill had replaced all the canvas on the boat herself. All the beige material on the cockpit and sail bag cover was Jill's handy work .Spending the 05-06 season in the Florida Keys we hope to catch up with them sometime in the future .Taken from the top of the mast on Leadership David and Jill are refitting their sail after some repairs.

S/V Sangaela - Geoff, Anne, Alex and Sarah aboard their Tartan yacht. (Tartan by make, not Tartan by colour)

Taken in Georgetown after they finally got their boat fixed after the local boat yard managed to drop it while it was being hauled for some work under the waterline. Eventually they got everything fixed and headed to Venezuela to sit out the hurricanes.

==========

s/v Serendipity - Jeff, Pam, Rachel, Marcy and Gillian.

We met these guys in Luperon (Dominican Republic) they also were sitting hiding from the hurricanes, after an innocent trip to to shops to get some vegetables I met Jeff at Capt Steve's, a local bar that sells just about anything including vegetables. I can't remember who bought who the first drink but needless to say I was shopping for 7 hours and was very drunk when I got home. I obviously blamed Jeff for making me drink that much and since that day he has been known as "Evil Jeff" ...... I did manage to stagger home with a bag of vegetables so I can't understand why Suzanne was so mad.

==========

Below are many of the boats and people we met in Luperon, we had a great time meeting them all, as many of them, like us are heading south in 2006 we will hopefully see many of them again on our travels.
